Keyword.com built its name on Google rank tracking. Its AI visibility product is newer: a module that tracks brand mentions, citations and sentiment in AI answers, sold on its own or bundled with the rank tracker and metered in monthly credits.
That history shapes the product. If your main job is Google positions with a light AI check on top, the 360° bundle is cheap and does it. If AI visibility is the work itself, you will hit the credit model, the entry allowances and the missing improvement workflow. Below are five alternatives built around AI tracking, with prices checked on each vendor’s live pricing page in October 2026. For the wider category, see our roundup of the best AI visibility tools.
Why look for Keyword.com alternatives for AI tracking?

Keyword.com’s AI side is real. It covers competitor benchmarking, citation analysis, brand sentiment, prompt research, live shared reports, an AI visibility API and an MCP server. The reasons to look elsewhere are about how it is packaged.
- AI tracking is an add-on to a rank tracker. The Search Visibility plan (USD 3 a month billed annually, USD 4 monthly) tracks Google only. AI visibility is either the standalone AI Visibility plan or credits bundled into the 360° Visibility plan, which starts at USD 26 a month billed annually (USD 33 monthly) with 1,000 keywords and 15 AI credits.
- Credits are cheap, but the entry allowance is small. Keyword.com now publishes its credit maths: a run on a chat app (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot) costs 0.25 credits, and a weekly schedule counts four runs a month. The entry AI Visibility plan’s 20 credits therefore cover 4 prompts across all five chat apps weekly, and the 360° bundle’s 15 credits cover 3.
- Some engines cost four times as much. Claude, Perplexity Sonar, Mistral, DeepSeek, Grok, OpenAI Search and the Gemini API are metered as API models at 1 credit per run. Adding Perplexity to a weekly set uses as many credits as ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode together.
- Faster refresh multiplies everything. Daily and weekly schedules draw from the same pool, so a daily set burns credits several times faster than a weekly one. Sizing a plan means running Keyword.com’s credit calculator for your engines and schedule.
- No improvement workflow. Keyword.com tells you where you appear and which sources get cited. Its pricing and product pages list no recommendations, content writer or AI traffic analytics, so turning a gap into a fix happens in another tool.
A keyword is something people type. A prompt is something people ask. They look alike in a spreadsheet but behave completely differently, and that change is the real switch, much more than changing tools.

1. LLM Pulse

We build this one, so read it as the interested party’s pitch and check the numbers. LLM Pulse is an AI search visibility and GEO platform, which is what most Keyword.com switchers are after: a product built around AI tracking. Every plan runs every prompt on five models (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews) with no per-engine metering, so fifty prompts means fifty prompts on all five.
Key features
- Fixed multi-model allowances. 50, 150, 450, 1,200 or 2,400 prompts on the five self-serve tiers, each tracked on all five models. Weekly by default, with daily and monthly tracking also available.
- More models when you need them. DeepSeek, Grok, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI, Naver AI Briefing, Naver AI Tab, Baidu AI, Qwen, Doubao and Alexa for Shopping (formerly Amazon Rufus) are paid add-ons. MiniMax, Mistral, Walmart Sparky and Brave AI are available through Talk to sales, and the team sets them up for approved paid accounts.
- The full visibility stack. Brand mentions, share of voice, competitor benchmarking and sentiment, with the raw answer text behind every data point, plus citation and source tracking.
- An improvement workflow in the same tool. Recommendations and GEO Writer take you from “we are invisible on this prompt” to a content fix without leaving the product.
- AI traffic and bot analytics. AI Traffic connects GA4, Plausible, PostHog or Adobe to show human visits from assistants, and Agent Analytics reads your server or CDN logs for AI bot hits.
- Built for agencies and data teams. Unlimited team members, CSV and Excel exports, tags, a REST API, CLI, MCP server, webhooks, a Data Studio connector and white label and iframe embed.
- Google Search Console integration. Pull your real top queries into prompt generation and read Search Console performance through the API and MCP.
I spent years in rank trackers, and the habit they teach is to watch the position and stop there. In AI answers the position is the start. What matters is which pages the model leaned on and how it described you, so we built every number to lead back to the answer and its sources.
Esteve Castells Co-founder, LLM PulseWatch-outs
- No Google SERP rank tracking. If you still report classic positions, keep a rank tracker alongside it.
- Prompts run weekly by default, so a prompt allowance buys fewer individual answers than a tool running everything daily at the same count. Compare plans on answers as well as prompts.
Pricing
Starter EUR 49 a month for 50 prompts, Growth EUR 99 for 150, Scale EUR 299 for 450, Scale+ EUR 599 for 1,200 and Scale++ EUR 1,199 for 2,400, with Enterprise custom. Prompts are per week, per model, and annual billing is ten times the monthly price. Full details are on the pricing page.
Outgrown Keyword.com’s AI credits?
Track every prompt across five AI models with a fixed allowance, plus citations, sentiment and recommendations.
2. SE Visible (SE Ranking)

SE Visible is SE Ranking’s standalone AI visibility product, and the closest cultural fit for a Keyword.com user: a rank-tracking company that turned its AI tracking into a dedicated tool instead of a credit add-on.
Key features
- Five engines on every plan, with daily tracking.
- The volume play: the Agency tier’s 1,000 prompts are the lowest per-prompt price of any self-serve tool here.
- Available inside the SE Ranking SEO platform too, if you want rankings and AI tracking from one vendor.
Watch-outs
- SE Ranking sells AI tracking two ways, and they get confused when quoted internally. The SEO plans include only 25 daily prompts, with more through an add-on; SE Visible is the standalone product with the larger allowances.
- The Agency tier can also run weekly, so check which cadence a quote assumes before lining it up against another tool.
Pricing
SE Visible is EUR 80 a month for 75 prompts (Basic), EUR 169 for 200 (Core) and EUR 355 for 1,000 (Agency), billed monthly, with a 10-day trial. SE Ranking’s Core and Growth SEO plans cost EUR 109 and EUR 235 a month, each with 25 daily prompts across five LLMs.
3. Otterly.AI

Otterly.AI has the lowest entry price among the established tools, and it counts fixed prompts instead of credits.
Key features
- Daily tracking on every plan across four base engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot.
- Unlimited team members on every plan, with API and MCP access on Standard and Premium.
- Fifteen daily prompts produce far more answers a month than the count suggests.
Watch-outs
- The USD 29 Lite plan includes 15 prompts: enough for a pilot, not a program.
- Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are paid add-ons, so full coverage costs more than the sticker price, and the top self-serve plan stops at 400 prompts.
Pricing
Lite USD 29 a month for 15 prompts, Standard USD 189 for 100 and Premium USD 489 for 400, with about 15% off on annual billing and Enterprise custom from 1,000 prompts. A free trial is available.
4. Profound

Profound is the enterprise-leaning option, and the one most likely to clear a security review, with SOC 2 compliance and SSO/SAML on its Enterprise plan.
Key features
- Up to nine answer engines on Enterprise, with API access and custom prompt sets.
- Prompts run daily.
- A free seven-day trial with 50 recommended prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
Watch-outs
- Profound no longer publishes a self-serve price. Beyond the trial, everything is Enterprise, quoted in a sales conversation. Its FAQ mentions a self-serve Agency Growth plan but does not list its price.
- The trial is limited to one language and one region, with no history, exports or API, so it works as a product tour, too short and narrow to show trends. If ChatGPT is your main concern, compare the options in our guide to the best ChatGPT tracking tools too.
Pricing
Free seven-day trial, then Enterprise at a custom price.
5. Scrunch AI

Scrunch AI puts as much weight on audit and remediation as on tracking, and is aimed at mid-market and enterprise teams.
Key features
- Core includes 125 unique prompts, 5,000 responses a month, one brand workspace and five user licenses.
- Five site audits a month sit alongside the monitoring.
- Four engines on Core: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot.
Watch-outs
- USD 250 is the highest entry price here, and nine-engine coverage, API access and the Looker Studio connector are on Enterprise.
- One brand workspace means a second brand is a second cost, and seven days is a tight trial for a product whose patterns take weeks to show.
Pricing
Core USD 250 a month for 125 prompts, Enterprise custom, with a seven-day trial.
Other alternatives worth considering
- AthenaHQ: a free Essential tier with 300 credits, then Starter at USD 295 a month with 3,600 credits across 11 models. One credit is one AI response.
- SISTRIX: Prompt Tracking, still in beta, is included at no extra charge in every package from EUR 119 a month.
- LLMrefs: one plan at USD 79 a month advertising 500 prompts, all engines, API, CSV export and unlimited projects and seats. Its FAQ still mentions a 50-keyword limit, so confirm the allowance before you buy.
- Promptmonitor: Starter at USD 39 a month for 25 prompts tracked twice a week on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity; Growth at USD 79 adds daily tracking, 50 prompts and models such as Claude and DeepSeek.
Decision framework
- You mostly need Google rankings with an occasional AI check. Stay on Keyword.com’s 360° bundle. Its 15 credits cover a handful of prompts, and the rank tracker is cheap.
- AI visibility is an ongoing deliverable. Pick a fixed-allowance platform so you can budget it from the prompt count. LLM Pulse covers the most engines per euro at weekly cadence; SE Visible is the volume option at daily cadence.
- You report to clients. Prioritise unlimited seats, white label and connectors. LLM Pulse and Otterly.AI include unlimited team members; Scrunch AI counts user licenses.
- You are an enterprise with security requirements. Profound and Scrunch AI lead on SSO/SAML and compliance paperwork.
- Perplexity is your priority engine. It is included as standard on LLM Pulse and Otterly.AI (SE Visible’s five engines leave it out), while Keyword.com meters it as an API model. Our comparison of the best Perplexity tracking tools goes deeper.
Cost savings analysis
Keyword.com’s credit calculator makes a fair comparison possible. Take a typical starting set: 50 prompts tracked weekly on the five models every LLM Pulse plan includes. On Keyword.com, ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and Gemini are chat apps at 0.25 credits a run, and Perplexity is available as Perplexity Sonar, an API model at 1 credit a run. Four weekly runs a month comes to 200 credits for the chat apps and 200 for Perplexity: 400 credits, which needs the 500-credit tier.
| Setup | LLM Pulse | Keyword.com AI Visibility |
|---|---|---|
| 50 prompts, weekly, 5 models | EUR 49/mo (Starter) | 400 credits: USD 90/mo, or USD 865/yr on the 500-credit tier |
| 150 prompts, weekly, 5 models | EUR 99/mo (Growth) | 1,200 credits: USD 180/mo, or USD 1,735/yr on the 2,000-credit tier |
| 50 prompts, weekly, 4 chat apps only | EUR 49/mo (Starter) | 200 credits: USD 57/mo, or USD 547/yr on the 200-credit tier |
Two caveats. Keyword.com is cheapest when you skip the API models: without Perplexity, 200 credits cover 50 prompts on four engines. And daily schedules move both columns, since an LLM Pulse daily plan is priced differently and a daily Keyword.com set uses far more credits. Line the plans up at the cadence you actually need. If budget decides it, we also keep a running list of the most affordable AEO tools.
Switching from Keyword.com to LLM Pulse
- Export your keyword list, but do not import it wholesale. AI prompts are questions (“best project management tool for remote teams”), not keywords (“project management software”). Rewrite your top commercial keywords as buyer questions; our guide on how to track brand mentions in AI answers covers prompt design.
- Set up your project and competitors. Starter includes 10 competitors per project, and share of voice is calculated from the first tracking run.
- Let several tracking cycles run before judging trends. AI answers vary from run to run, so direction over time matters more than any single snapshot.
- Work the recommendations. This is the part a rank tracker never gave you: prioritised fixes and GEO Writer content tied to the prompts where competitors beat you.
- Keep rank tracking separate if you still need it. Many teams run both: a cheap rank tracker for Google positions, a dedicated platform for AI answers.
Summary
Keyword.com earned its audience as a rank tracker, and its 360° bundle is a reasonable way to add light AI checks to a SERP-first workflow. Its credits are now priced in public and cheap on chat apps, but the entry allowances cover only a few prompts, the API models cost four times as much, and there is no workflow for acting on what you find. LLM Pulse covers five engines on every prompt and adds citations, sentiment, recommendations and GEO Writer, with plans from EUR 49 a month. SE Visible is the volume pick, Otterly.AI wins on entry price, and Profound and Scrunch AI own the enterprise end.
Frequently asked questions
Is Keyword.com good for AI visibility tracking?
For light use, yes. It covers competitor benchmarking, citation analysis, sentiment and prompt research, bundled cheaply with its rank tracker. The limits are the small entry allowances (20 credits on the entry AI Visibility plan, 15 on the entry 360° bundle) and the lack of an improvement workflow such as recommendations or a content writer.
How much does Keyword.com’s AI tracking cost?
The standalone AI Visibility plan starts at USD 9.80 a month, or USD 94 a year (USD 7.83 a month), for 20 credits, with tiers up to 2,000 credits at USD 180 a month. The 360° Visibility bundle starts at USD 26 a month billed annually (USD 33 monthly) with 1,000 keywords and 15 AI credits. Custom plans start at USD 490 a month.
What is a Keyword.com AI credit?
Its credit calculator charges 0.25 credits per run on a chat app (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini and Copilot) and 1 credit per run on an API model such as Claude, Perplexity Sonar, Mistral, DeepSeek or Grok. A weekly schedule counts four runs a month, so one prompt on one chat app weekly uses 1 credit a month.
What is the best Keyword.com alternative for AI tracking?
LLM Pulse, if AI visibility is an ongoing deliverable. Every plan tracks each prompt on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews with a fixed allowance, and adds citations, share of voice, sentiment, recommendations and GEO Writer. Plans start at EUR 49 a month.
What is the cheapest alternative?
Otterly.AI’s Lite plan at USD 29 a month is the lowest entry price among the established tools, but it includes 15 prompts and sells Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude as add-ons. LLM Pulse Starter at EUR 49 covers 50 prompts on five models weekly.
Do I still need a rank tracker after switching to an AI visibility tool?
If Google positions are still part of your reporting, yes. Most AI visibility platforms, LLM Pulse included, do not track classic organic rankings, so many teams pair a low-cost rank tracker with a dedicated AI platform.
How many prompts should I track?
Most single-market brands land between 50 and 200 once they write out the buying, comparison and “best of” questions buyers ask. Start with 50, check which prompts trigger brand or competitor mentions after a few tracking cycles, then prune or expand.
Can I try these tools before paying?
Yes. Keyword.com and LLM Pulse offer 14-day trials (ours needs a card), SE Visible offers 10 days, Profound and Scrunch AI offer seven, and Otterly.AI offers a free trial without stating its length.
