What is the Power BI connector?

The LLM Pulse Power BI connector is a private beta Power Query custom connector. It lets Power BI Desktop load LLM Pulse metrics through the REST API using your API key.

Is this a certified Microsoft connector?

No. It is an uncertified custom connector during the private beta. You need to enable custom data extensions in Power BI Desktop before using it.

Copy LLMPulse.mez to Documents\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors, enable custom data extensions in Power BI Desktop security settings, restart Power BI Desktop, then choose LLM Pulse from Get data.

Can I use scheduled refresh?

Yes. Because this is a custom connector, scheduled refresh in Power BI Service requires the on-premises data gateway with the same connector file installed.

What data is available?

The beta exposes project browsing, time series metrics, competitors, tags, prompts, models, and locales. Summary, Share of Voice, top sources, and write actions are not included yet.
