The n8n-nodes-llmpulse community package adds two nodes to n8n: an operations node covering the full LLM Pulse API and a trigger node with signed, instant webhook events. Works on n8n Cloud and self-hosted instances.
Features
n8n gives you self-hosting, code steps and full control. The LLM Pulse nodes are open source and follow n8n community node conventions.
Keep your automation on your own infrastructure. The trigger node receives webhooks directly on your n8n instance.
The trigger node verifies the X-LLMPulse-Signature header on every delivery by default, rejecting anything unsigned.
Select any combination of mention, citation, execution, sentiment, recommendation and GEO Writer events in a single trigger node.
Projects, prompts, competitors, collections, mentions, citations, metrics, intelligence tasks and annotations, with dropdowns for projects and tags.
Post-process events with JavaScript or Python steps, join with other APIs, and push anywhere n8n can reach.
Install from the community nodes panel on self-hosted instances, or use it on n8n Cloud once verified.
Nodes and operations
The LLM Pulse node for operations, plus the LLM Pulse Trigger node for instant events.
LLM Pulse Trigger
Instant webhook events: mentions, competitor mentions, citations, executions, negative sentiment, recommendations, GEO Writer tasks. HMAC verification built in.
Project, Prompt, Competitor
List projects, get details, list and create prompts in bulk, assign tags, add competitors.
Collection and Annotation
List and create tags, attach prompts, and add timeline annotations to projects.
Mention, Citation, Metrics
Query mentions and citations with filters, and pull summary metrics, timeseries and Share of Voice.
Intelligence Task
Create GEO Writer tasks (briefs, articles, updates) and fetch results when they complete.
The nodes authenticate with an LLM Pulse API key, available on the Scale plan and above. The trigger node and write operations need a key with the read_write scope.
Standard n8n community node installation, nothing exotic.
On self-hosted n8n: Settings > Community Nodes > Install, then enter n8n-nodes-llmpulse. On n8n Cloud, add it from the nodes panel.
Create an LLM Pulse API key with the read_write scope (Scale plan or above) and paste it into the LLM Pulse credentials in n8n.
Drop in the LLM Pulse Trigger node, pick your project and events, and connect the rest of your workflow.
Popular with technical teams and agencies that self-host their automation.
Keep AI visibility events inside your own infrastructure while still alerting Slack, Mattermost or email.
Enrich each mention with code steps, third-party APIs or LLM calls before storing or routing it.
Stream mentions, citations and sentiment into Postgres, BigQuery or ClickHouse with n8n database nodes.
Template one workflow and duplicate it per client project, each with its own routing and reporting.
"LLM Pulse is an essential tool for anyone needing to track visibility in LLMs. The platform works seamlessly, and the team is highly professional and responsive. It brings much-needed light and structure to the often unpredictable context of AI visibility. Highly recommended."
