Open a table in Google Sheets
Next to CSV and Excel, the export menu of every data table offers Open in Google Sheets. It creates a new spreadsheet in your own Google Drive with the same rows and columns as the Excel export, and opens it in a new browser tab.
How to use it
- Open the Export table menu on any data table and choose Open in Google Sheets. On the Exports page, each quick export card has a Google Sheets button that does the same
- The first time, Google asks you to let LLM Pulse create files in your Drive. This access only covers the spreadsheets LLM Pulse creates for you, never the rest of your Drive
- The new tab shows Creating your Google Sheet and opens the sheet as soon as it is ready
After the first time there is no permission step: the sheet opens straight away. Owned Media and YouTube Intelligence tables offer it in their export menus too.
Where your sheets are
The sheet belongs to you. You can edit, share or delete it like any other file in your Drive, and it does not expire like a downloaded file. It also appears on the Exports page with an Open link, and the ready email links straight to it. See Export your data and PDF reports for the rest of the Exports page.
Disconnect Google Drive
Go to Account Settings > Connected Apps and choose Disconnect under Google Drive. LLM Pulse also asks Google to remove the access. Sheets you already created stay in your Drive.
If the access expires, or you remove it from your Google Account, the next export asks you to connect Google Drive again. The export that needed it shows a Connect Google Drive button on its page and in the Exports list, so you can connect and finish it.
Tips & notes
- Google drops cells longer than 50,000 characters when it creates the sheet, and it cannot convert files over 100 MB. Use the Excel export for those tables
- If your Drive is full, or your Google Workspace administrator does not allow this kind of access, the export tells you why instead of creating the sheet
- Team members need the Exports permission and access to the data, as for CSV and Excel
- It is not offered in embedded dashboards or white-label portals
