How to use the ChatGPT Ads Library

The ChatGPT Ads Library is a free research tool built from sponsored placements LLM Pulse observes while monitoring ChatGPT. It lets you see which advertisers and messages are appearing without exposing any customer project, prompt, or surrounding ChatGPT response.

This is an independent LLM Pulse database, not an official OpenAI ad library. Coverage depends on the countries and queries we observe, so it may not contain every ChatGPT ad.

We only save and publish an ad after our data source confirms that it was rendered in ChatGPT. Candidates marked as not rendered (is_rendered: false), or returned without that confirmation, are excluded so the library does not present possible placements as real observations.

What you can search

Signed-in users can filter the library by:

  • Advertiser name or domain
  • Ad headline, description, or landing page
  • Country
  • First or last observation date
  • Most recent, most observed, or advertiser-diverse order

Repeated sightings of the same creative are grouped together. Each result shows the advertiser, headline, description, countries, first and last observation dates, and total observations. Observation dates tell you when LLM Pulse saw the ad. They do not prove the official campaign dates, targeting, spend, or performance.

Access levels

  • Without an account: you can browse up to 18 public, privacy-safe samples. Search filters are not available, and each card links to signup.
  • Any signed-in account: you can use the search filters, see up to 30 matching results, open ad details, and see any available stored creative image.
  • Active Scale tier or higher: you can browse all result pages. Full browsing is limited to 1,000 result-page views per workspace each calendar month. Reopening the same result state within 10 minutes does not use another view.

Anonymous visitors never see creative images. If an image is still being stored or is unavailable, signed-in users still see the ad card and its information without the image.

The library has no CSV, Excel, API, or MCP export. It is intended for interactive research.

The ChatGPT Ads Library link appears in the app sidebar and Quick Search for every signed-in user. It is hidden in embed and whitelabel sessions. This shortcut does not change direct access to the public URL, library access levels, or creative-image visibility.

Library data and project reports are different

The global library combines observed ads from across the platform and protects the projects and prompts that produced them. Use it to research the wider ChatGPT advertising market.

The project-level ChatGPT Ads report is different. It analyzes ads returned for your own tracked prompts, with advertiser tables, insights, trends, response links, and exports. Use that report when you need to understand paid competition around a specific brand or prompt set.
