What this report covers
This report ranks a curated list of Spain-based news and media outlet domains by answer reach among eligible citation-bearing AI answers served in Spain. Every answer in the denominator has at least one non-client source assigned to Spain. The founding snapshot covers 30 complete days, 18 August to 16 September 2026, using Europe/Madrid dates, and includes 390,365 answers from non-branded prompts.
How we measure this

The aggregate uses every eligible AI model with data in the LLM Pulse dataset. Separate pages are available for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews.

The denominator uses successful executions from active non-branded prompts assigned to Spain (ES) that cite at least one non-client source assigned to Spain. The ranking then filters those sources to a curated list of Spain-based news and media domains.

Each outlet counts once per answer, and domains need breadth across several separate tracked brands. Tracked questions are selected by brands, so the sample leans toward commercial topics and does not represent every question asked in Spain. Dates use Europe/Madrid. The live page is rebuilt daily over a 7-day rolling window.
Why this matters
For publishers, this ranking shows which outlets appear in the eligible citation-bearing AI answers in the LLM Pulse sample. It reports citation patterns, not audience size, popularity, trust, quality or market share.
For brands, this list provides context on the Spain-based media domains that AI answers cite in this sample. It does not measure audience, trust, quality or the effect of coverage.
