Custom Reports (Shareable Links and Weekly Emails)

Custom Reports let you assemble your own report from the charts LLM Pulse already tracks, share it outside the platform, and put it on a weekly email schedule. It is built for agencies reporting to clients and teams reporting to stakeholders who do not have an LLM Pulse login.

With Custom Reports, you can:

  • Assemble a branded AI visibility report from the charts LLM Pulse already tracks
  • Share it as a public link that clients or stakeholders open without a login
  • Schedule a weekly email that delivers the report with a PDF and an optional Excel data workbook
  • Set a rolling date range so the report always shows the latest week without any manual work

Find it under Utilities > Custom Reports in the sidebar. Available on Scale and Enterprise plans.

Building a report

Click New report and configure:

  • Report name: shown as the title on the report page, the PDF cover, and the email subject.
  • Date range: a rolling window of the last 7, 30, or 90 days, or the last 12 months. Because the window is rolling, the report always shows the latest data, which is what makes the weekly email useful.
  • Filters: optionally narrow the report to a single AI model, one of your tags, or a Brand type (Own Brand, Other Competitors, or Non-Brand / Generic). The Brand type filter is handy for executive reporting on the generic prompt universe: pick Non-Brand / Generic and every scheduled email attachment sticks to it automatically. A new report starts from the Brand Type you have selected on your Overview page, so its numbers match your dashboard. The AI traffic and AI bot crawls widgets are traffic-based and are not affected by prompt filters.
  • Competitors to compare: choose which competitors the charts compare your brand against. A new report starts with the competitors you have selected on the Overview page, and you can tick a different set for this report without changing your dashboard. Leave them all unticked to keep following your Overview selection.
  • Previous-period comparison: tick "Compare KPI sections with the previous period" to add change indicators to both Summary KPIs and Performance KPIs, comparing against the window of the same length right before your date range (for example, the previous 30 days). The indicators show on the report page, the public link, the PDF and the Excel workbook, and appear once your project has enough history to cover both periods.
  • Sections: the report canvas contains the sections already selected. Use Add in the Available sections library to place another one in the report, or remove a section from the canvas to return it to the library. The catalog includes Summary KPIs, Performance KPIs, Brand visibility over time, AI Visibility Score over time, Mentions over time, Citations over time, Citation Rate over time, Average position over time, Share of Voice over time, Share of Voice breakdown, Sentiment breakdown, Brand visibility by AI model, Mentions by AI model, Citations by AI model, Average mention position by AI model, AI traffic over time, AI bot crawls over time, Top subreddits, Owned media citations, Tag Leadership, Country Leadership, Top cited domains, and Latest prompts.
  • Order and structure: the canvas uses the same two-column structure as the desktop report. Drag any card by its handle to put sections in the order you want. Charts, Top subreddits, and Owned media citations can be set to Half width or Full width directly on their cards. Two adjacent half-width sections share a row; an empty half-width slot is shown when a section does not have a partner. Summary KPIs, the other tables, headings, text, dividers, and images stay full width. The same layout is used on the report page, public link, and PDF.
  • Content blocks: use the Add heading, Add text, and Add divider buttons to insert your own titles, explanatory paragraphs, and separator lines between sections.
  • Images: click Add image to upload a picture (PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB, up to 10 per report). Pick a size for each one: Logo for a small brand mark, Banner for a medium visual, or Full width for a hero image, plus a left, center, or right alignment. A client logo at the top and a full-width campaign visual mid-report go a long way toward making the report feel like yours. Images show on the report page, the public link, and the PDF; removing the block deletes the file.

The charts and leadership tables show your brand plus the competitors you picked for the report (or, if you left the selection empty, the competitors selected on your Overview page), with the same colors used across the platform. Tag Leadership and Country Leadership use the accumulated AI Visibility Score for the report period, matching the leadership tables on Overview.

Some widgets depend on an integration: AI traffic over time needs a connected analytics source, AI bot crawls over time needs Agent Analytics data, and Owned media citations needs at least one owned media URL configured in Project Settings. When the source is not connected, the widget shows as "Not available" in the builder and displays a short note on the report instead of an empty chart.

Publishing and sharing

Links to reports inside your signed-in workspace use a stable, opaque identifier rather than a sequential number. Public sharing uses a separate unguessable link, so opening an internal report never exposes its sharing credential.

Sharing lives in the Share and schedule dialog: open your report and click the Share and schedule button next to Edit. A new report starts as a draft: only people with access to your project can see it. Click Publish report to generate a public share link.

  • The link is a long, unguessable URL. Anyone who has it can view the live report without logging in.
  • The public page is excluded from search engines.
  • Click Unpublish at any time: the link stops working immediately, and the weekly email (if scheduled) is turned off.
  • Deleting a report also disables its link right away.

Password protection (optional)

If a long unguessable link is not enough, set a password in the Share and schedule dialog. Visitors opening the public link then have to enter it once per browser session before the report loads.

  • Share the password with your viewers yourself; LLM Pulse never includes it in any email.
  • Changing or removing the password immediately locks out everyone who had already unlocked the report.
  • Files attached to the weekly email are not affected: recipients you chose can always read them.
  • Leave the password field blank when saving other settings to keep the current password; tick Remove the password to turn protection off.

Weekly email schedule

In the same Share and schedule dialog, enable Send this report weekly by email and choose:

  • Day of week, time of day, and timezone: the email goes out weekly at that local time.
  • Recipients: up to 10 email addresses, separated by commas. Recipients do not need an LLM Pulse account.
  • Also attach the report data as Excel: add an .xlsx workbook for internal analysis and historical tracking. It has a Report details sheet plus one sheet for each selected data widget. Headings, text and images remain in the PDF because the workbook contains data only.

Each email contains a button linking to the live report plus a PDF copy attached, so recipients can read it without clicking through. When the Excel option is on, the same email also includes the workbook. The report must be published to enable the schedule, since recipients need the link to work. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that removes that recipient from the list.

Exporting a PDF manually

The report page also has the standard Export PDF button. It generates the same branded PDF through Export History: you get a toast when it is ready, and the download link stays available for 7 days.

Embedded and white-label portals

Custom Reports can be created, edited, viewed, and exported as branded PDFs inside an embedded or full white-label portal. Reports created there are portal-only, which means:

  • There is no public share link or viewer password.
  • Weekly email delivery and recipient lists are disabled.
  • The report remains portal-only if it is later opened in the main workspace.

This keeps the report inside the authenticated portal and its current project while preserving the report builder and PDF workflow.

Limits

  • Up to 20 custom reports per project.
  • Up to 10 recipients per report.
  • Weekly frequency only for now.
