At LLM Pulse, our mission is simple: help brands and businesses understand how they appear across the new generation of AI search experiences.
Until now, you could monitor how ChatGPT and Perplexity answered prompts related to your brand, products, or competitors.
Starting today, we’re taking a big step forward: LLM Pulse now supports Google AI Mode – for now available only in English and in selected countries, with more languages and regions to follow as Google expands availability.

This means you can:
- Track how your brand is represented in Google’s AI Mode answers.
- Discover which competitors are mentioned (brand) and cited (website), and how often.
- Detect PR and content opportunities. We call these “gaps”.
What is Google AI Mode?
Google AI Mode is an experimental feature inside Google Search where, instead of showing the classic list of blue links, Google generates an AI-powered answer directly at the top of the results.
It works similarly to AI Overviews, but with a stronger focus on conversational, model-driven responses. When you type a query, Google AI Mode synthesizes information from multiple sources, cites references, and presents a summary or recommendation.
In short:
- Traditional Google Search = ranked list of links.
- AI Overviews = short AI summary blended into the SERP.
- Google AI Mode = a full AI-first experience where the answer comes from the model, not the index.
It’s part of Google’s broader shift toward generative search, changing how users discover information and how brands get visibility online.
Why does this matter?
Because Google isn’t just a search engine anymore. AI Overviews and AI Mode are changing how people discover information, evaluate products, and build trust with brands. If you’re not monitoring your presence there, you’re flying blind.
And the best part: AI Mode tracking is now available to all LLM Pulse customers, on every plan.
This shift is part of a broader movement often called Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), or SEO for AI. The idea is simple: it’s no longer just about ranking on traditional search results, but ensuring your brand is cited, represented, and discoverable inside AI-generated answers.

How to track Google AI Mode visibility on LLM Pulse
Every prompt you add to your LLM Pulse account is automatically monitored in Google AI Mode. There’s no extra setup — the platform runs those queries, captures the AI-generated answers, and shows you where your brand (or your competitors) and website are being mentioned / cited. This way, you get continuous, hands-off tracking of your visibility across Google’s new AI-driven search experience.

We’re just getting started — more models, deeper insights, and new ways to analyze visibility are coming soon.
